ZOMG
Say what you will but I have never been to a cyclocross race. All I heard last year is "CX ROX!" So the other other day my mobile blew up and Casey Ryback axed if I wanted to roll out to quaint river town of Hermann Mo. for the oping race of the CX season. I said fo sho. And since Mason Storm had his Shiny new Major Jake in the shop I was stoked all day Saturday to witness the pain fest known as CX racing. It lived up to its expectations and more. It was kind of like when you see a boob though all the snow on that porn channel late at night. Except instead of a boob it was dudes in Lycra and instead of snow it was mud that "smelled like the zoo" or Hoffmeyers wedding. Either way I was exhilarated to the point that i dropped half of my pulled pork sandwich cheering on the always Hollywood Dave Breslin (don't worry Dave I implemented the 10 second-shoe-print rule). All I really have to say is I really want a CX bike so I can see where I fall in the mix. Nice job to Dave, Drew, Matt, and the rest of the Mesa crew looking forward to Burnin'. Also a huge shout out to Mason Storm wearing those killer Team Seagal kits and racing CX for the first time.

I'm happy to announce that I am feeling quite regular. That is all.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the monster cheering section and the icy cold PBR following the race! You guys rocked and really kept the race from being a full deployment into the pain cave! I loved the screaming at the bottom of the steps the best.
